Our Favorite tv commercials

In the early 70s there was a commercial for Northeast Airlines and its jingle was based upon the following song...

" first heard "Yellow Bird" in a TV commercial for an airline in the 1970s. It was for Northeast Airlines, which painted its planes yellow, at least in part, and called them Yellow Birds. Northeast merged with Delta in 1972.

The words to the jingle were as follows:

Yellow Bird, we make your vacation fun
Yellow Bird, our service is number one
Wow, our seats are wide
Lots more room inside
Food gets cooked on board
Have your faith restored
So just fly away
In the sky away
Yellow Bird is more fun!

Sales of Arthur Lyman Group LPs kept HiFi Records, and its sub-label Life, in business for years.
