Our late Queen Elizabeth Anniversary of her Death

There's some lovely pics in the papers today of a Young Elizabeth with her Father King George Vl,.. younger than 25, because that's the age she was when she ascended the throne

It's almost a year since we lost the Queen... 2 days from now it will be the Anniversary of her death ... a stalwart in many of our lives...and a constant.. still can't really come to grips with the fact she's no longer here.

As for calling Camilla Queen..forgetaboutit... I don't hate her but she'll never be Queen of this country in my eyes..

Over the years I have amassed a lot of pictures of the Royal family.. so In memory of of Elizabeth .. here are some....of my favourites..

My mother's face, in pictures from when she was 30, looked a lot like this — though my Mum was 50% Italian-Swiss. So there was a dab of Italian in her features.

She did... wheen she and Philip had been married a long time.. people were swooning over Diana, and then Catherine, and Philip sprang to the Queens defence and said on more than one occasion, that the Queen was so beautiful in her youth , that she looked better than most Hollywood film stars

As for Camilla...she might be queen, but she'll never be The Queen. I think she's unattractive, abrasive and just all wrong.. There. I said it. We may have to accept Charles' choice, but we don't have to like it.
