Owners Who Deserve to be Euthanized

A Yorkie and Pit Bull were reported on a Newark roof top. The roof was covered in tar which had melted, burning both pups badly. A plate of chicken and rice had been left out but no water. The temperature the last few weeks has been in the high 80's, you don't want to imagine the suffering of those poor dogs.

Fortunately it has a happy ending. The Yorkie has been sent to a facility with a high adoption rate...plus the little guys get adopted quickly. The pit bull had more severe injuries but will be adopted by a hospital staff member after recovery. I hope whoever did such a thing goes behind bars.

I agree. There are few forms of human life lower than someone who abuses, or fails to take good care of, a pet. These little animals can be so nice to have around, and I cannot understand how someone could be so uncaring.

But I mean the thought process? If somebody is mentally ill and/or really strung out then they can do some incredibly stupid cruel things because they're incapable of thinking anymore. But if you don't want to be bothered with your dogs tie them to a light pole next to a busy pedestrian route. If you have an infant you don't want leave them at a police station, an emergency room bathroom. Somewhere where somebody will find them and help them...not a broiling roof or a dumpster.

How sad for those animals. Glad they were spotted and survived the ordeal. Maybe someone just forgot them? I would hate to believe it was intentional, but either way, very irresponsible. It's good they found new homes.

We need to put the people bare foot butt an everything else up on that roof. With chick n rice an no water. I foster dogs that have been
abused. Right now I have Charley, he's part lab, pitt an not sure. When he was a baby they kept him in a small crate an only let him out once a day.
His hind legs are all crippled, FOJJ, a animal rescuse place is paying for his surgeries to fix them. It's up to me to care, take him to his PT,
which is about 40 minutes from my house. We think we have a family ready to take him at the end of his PT, yayayayay, but right now we are on
the 2nd surgery. The first was a piece of cake the 2nd was a disaster. I had to take him back to the vet's ,he had to spend the wkend. He was in so much pain
after that I had to just hold him ,nite after nite to comfort him. Now he is finally over that hump an is recovering. He has such a great nature I'm sure the
family will really appreciate him.

Actually that might be too lenient...I say we tar and feather them, then hang them. Good widdance to bad wubbish...

Happytime,
What a wonderful thing to do. You are a hero to many a pooch, I am sure! We have in my area, a lot of foster homes for pets until they can be adopted. My neighbor was taking in older dogs but she was finding it very sad so I don't know if she still does. I hope that dog has a good life after all that!

Yay for you happy time! You're a hero for helping the dogs the way you have!

Thanks for all the positive replies . The last go around with Charley was so stressful on him an me. But he's back to chasing my cats
so he's better, lol. I figure if I were to keep him then others would suffer so I feel my journey is to help an adopt them out. It's better
for them an for me. Thanks again.

Yes happy, foster parents are angels in disguise. Charley is so very blessed to have you:love_heart:

If Sophie hadn't gone all dog aggressive I would have fostered, course I probably would have wanted to keep all of them.
