Oxford in the 1920s

I haven't even finished it and already like it. And huge credit to the creator of this video who specifies that the color is not historically accurate. I do enjoy watching old movie clips like this colorized because it does seem to be more relatable to the time period but many who do restore the old black and white videos are not so upfront about the process. I went ahead and subscribed to the channel. Thanks for sharing.
 
One scene was so close to my home in Oxford (it was the scene by Magdelene Bridge) if I walked left a few feet I would be there! Thank you so much for this walk down memory lane!

sigh. I feel homesick. It was my desire to live forever in Oxford, but we can't always get what we want. However, by going 'home' I got something better--my son.

This film is about 100 years old. I love these old films. You find yourself looking at people that have been dead for 60, 70, 80, or 90 years. Now all of a sudden, they are alive again. In their youth (at least some of them), and living one of the days of their life. That's what I always think when I am watching them.
