Package delivery updates- phoney and bald faced lies!

i had an order that was supposed to be delivered by FedEx a week ago but “due to weather” it’s delayed. We haven’t had any trouble getting in and out but whatever. Late yesterday evening the driver went in the ditch while coming here to deliver our packages. Needless to say, I didn’t get my packages yesterday. I also didn't get them today. When we looked at the place where he went in the ditch it could have only been caused by distraction so it wasn’t the fault of the road condition. Something tells me I’m never going to get these packages.

That is so frustrating, Remy. Have you tried looking for those shoes on Poshmark.com, mercari.com, or thredup.com? I've had good luck finding and buying discontinued clothing and shoes on all 3 of those sites.
Good ideas! Thanks. I will take a look. I've never bought from them but it's worth a try. These certain ones have been the best for work.

Well, more package delivery drama, another package went missing...supposed to have been delivered on the 25th. Spent 1/2 hour at the post office while they looked for it. Then, on the way home I thought I'd double-check the cluster box, and found that someone tried to drill the lock out:

....I filed a vandalism report with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. shrugs.gif

I thought of your post today, @Nathan . I've been tracking a package and yesterday morning it arrived to my local post office. A few BLOCKS away. This morning it's at the other end of the state! Uh... gee. If it's not here tomorrow I'll be interested to hear what lame excuse they come up with. A few blocks away! But it's not just USPS... last week I tracked a FedEx box. Got the picture confirmation, but it wasn't MY porch. I recognized the house and had to go retrieve my package. They're all getting very sloppy.

It's the correct shipping address. Current tracking is looking like this package is lost, or going to get lost in transit, have seen this pattern several times before. Note the red arrow shows a delivery "attempt", then rather than going back to the local Post Office it get sent 40 miles away to the area distribution center...View attachment 326837

I'm not a big fan of the US Postal Service. One of the things I noticed is when tracking a package, it gets closer and closer to you. I'm in PA.Then the package gets to Scranton-20 miles from me. If the next info says it was shipped to someplace in Ohio-300 miles from me- you know the package has gone to package heaven- it leaves the world of the living.
The US. P.O. delivers mail to my mail box, which is on the highway 3 streets from me. UPS can find my house, but the P.O. can't. I have to pick up the package at the P.O. I have to drive BY a P.O. about a mile from me, to go to MY P.O. 10 miles away. (Different zip codes)
