Package Pirates - TRAPS

I’m loving the videos showing on the news where traps (with GPS in the box) are set for package thieves on porches, etc. These creeps follow UPS, Fedex, postal carriers.

Of course, best to require a signature or have things delivered to office or a friend, but that’s not always possible.

I had a package stolen/missing last summer, and I canceled the order and got a refund. Just the other day I was waiting on a delivery (USPS), tracked, and it said “delivered – left at door”. Huh? I never got it when I got my mail. I waited, and was just about to call someone and complain. Something told me to take another look. There it was, kind of hidden behind a shrub. :)

I’ve thought of fixing up a box with garbage or something very undesirable inside and placing it out front. But….they might remember where it came from and come back. Never mind.

Nah, can't stand snakes and thieves just grab the box and run. Wouldn't be able to see anything. But I can think of several things that would really be appropriate. Use your imagination........

Package Thieves Being Given Poopy Trapped Boxes.

This man was one of many who had some packages taken off his front step. He has now left boxes that included things like broken games, duck sauce and/or dog poop.

It's more money but the easiest solution is arrange delivery with a signature only.
