Packed a Suitcase Lately?

Yeah, I use a soft travel bag with a shoulder strap

Never knew why folks took so much stuff when they travel
You sound like my mother. She always thought I packed to much. But I had to pack for all kinds of weather eventualities. And pack extra travel bags to put the new stuff that crept into my possession.

Most don't need to, but when I traveled it was to visit our home office or go to business functions so I had to take suits, sport coats, etc. Wouldn't fit in a soft travel bag. ;)

Yeah, I get that.

Funny thing, my attire for business meetings off shore were still levis, T shirt, sport coat, comfy shoes.
I was the most comfortable guy in the meetings.
If there was a 2nd meeting, most everyone dressed down.

You worked for a great company. That's why I'm glad I retired!

Actually, I was on vacation in Atlantic City, N.J. when you posted this. I returned home Thursday night. I stayed at my timeshare for7 days using my owners week. I had also gone down for 4 days on October 2nd. This past week was probably the last time I'll go this year unless we get some unseasonably warm weather for 3 or 4 days at a stretch, at which time I'll try to sneak in another trip.

Yeah, I drove down to Gettysburg, and stayed overnight, about two weeks ago. Before I got sick, my ex and I traveled a lot on weekends. I was house bound for a while, so I got rid of all my "travel stuff". It was so weird getting little bottles of stuff again. And as many times as I have stayed overnight, I still forget to pack something.- every time!!!!!!!!!

I can only imagine what it is like heading a gaggle of engineers. I managed a team of salespeople. Not easy either.
There just wasn't enough room in the engineering dept for all their egos.
Talk about extra baggage....
