Palm Springs Aerial Tramway on Mt. San Jacinto, California

Palm Springs has an elevation of 476 feet and Mt. San Jacinto behind it is 10,804 feet tall. The Aerial Tramway covers almost 6,000 feet, from 2,645 to 8,516 feet. It's exciting, just wonderful, and we have been there many times. Wow that looks amazing. I was on one of those in Germany. Don't remember what mountain. I was in high school.

Mt Everest is so busy these days, they need one of those with a pressurized cabin. Forget the 100,000 dollar climbing permits, guides, yaaks, and sherpas.

I have done rock climbing, but not mountain climbing and sleeping out in 30 below weather.
