I don't go along with the universal adulation of those eletist Panda Bears!
If the Pope was scheduled to visit the White House on the same day that a baby Panda was born, guess who would get the headlines?
Every time I've seen a Panda at the Zoo, they're always rocking back and forth playing with their feet like an infant in a crib.
Even at the San Diego Zoo, with its steep admission price, the Panda exhibit costs an additional $10 just to walk into a darkened room to see a sleeping Panda, yet there is a line outside with people drooling as though they were going to see King Tut's funeral mask!
To me, a Bear is something Big, Powerful, and Intelligent, like the Polar Bear, the Grizzly Bear, the Black Bear, etc...all proud and imposing creatures!
