Panthers Win Stanley Cup 2024

Final score of Game 7----2-1. It was their first NHL Stanley Cup since joining the league.

It was 3-3 going into Game 7. Bobrovsky had 23 saves. Unfortunately for me, I fell asleep during the start of he 3rd quarter.

Ah, we were rooting for Edmonton! I really felt it was Canada's turn. Sad, but happy to see Connor McDavid was acknowledged.
The DRAFT is this week - that will be fun and we'll get ready for next season!
PS - there are only 3 periods to a game. At least it didn't go into overtime!

I never expected the Panthers to win last night. Edmonton had the momentum rolling in their favor so I expected them to continue to win one more game.

For The Oilers, or, any team to come back from a 3 game deficit would be a miracle. The last time was 1942.
I like both teams. I am happy for the Panthers and sad for the Oilers.
Great season though. We'll start again in October. I am an Avs fan and my wife a Wings fan.
