Being that you’re a city boy, you may have a harder time finding them. Living near the country, there are several alpaca farms. You may find wool dryer balls if you have a farmers’ market and deep pockets.

So, you recommend sheep balls as an alternative?

I've always been obsessive about conserving water and paper products. That said, I do use paper for the messiest cleanups, washable [old] kitchen towels for lighter jobs.

Of course. They’re pricey, just less so than the alpaca ones.

Water vacs have been around for decades why can't someone invent a small hand held one like those used for vacuuming cars?

Someone did! I have a small hand-held one which can be used for liquid spills.
