his is the moment a shameless paramedic was caught stealing £60 from a 94-year-old's home - moments after she collapsed and died.

The paramedic was caught on camera rifling through the recently deceased elderly woman's belongings and pocketing £60 from her home.

The 58-year-old paramedic can be seen casually strolling up towards a side table where the cash was placed, before rummaging through her things and pocketing the money.

When he realised he'd been filmed, Mark Titley quickly put the cash back - but the victim's son saw what he had done and said it made him 'sick to his stomach'
Whilst my mother was being given CPR by the other Paramedics. This happened!!! Mark Titley 58, of Linley Avenue Ponstbury retired from the NHS the week after on full NHS pension, denied the crime at his 1st court appearance then received a suspended sentence and 120 hrs community work from his 2nd appearance in court.

The 58-year-old was one of four medics called to the woman's home in Shrewsbury on June 29 last year, following reports she had collapsed in the garden.

They worked on her for about 20 minutes before she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shrewsbury Crown Court was told Titley then entered the property in search of a 'do not resuscitate' form.

But he was filmed going through a plastic box full of cash and lifting up the notes to count through them before placing around £60 in his trouser pocket.

The court was told Titley then looked around and spotted the camera before immediately putting it back in the box.

But the woman's son saw the footage and reported it to West Mercia Police. The court heard he felt 'disgusted and sick to my stomach' on reviewing it.

Titley initially denied the allegation, telling police he intended to 'secure' the cash and take it out to family members.

However, he later admitted theft and was given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work and pay £530 costs and a £187 victim surcharge.

Despicable.. 🤬

This begs the question... Have you ever been the victim of a thief or thieves? If so what happened ?

Yes, the first care lady that came to my home a few years
back took $40., from me....the money was in a coffee cup
sitting right here at the computer, it was to pay for lawn
work I believe....could not believe she did that on her
first day here....I called the agency and she was fired and
I was reimbursed....

isn't that terrible, I can imagine how shocked you must have been .

A Family member once stole every item of clothing I owned apart from what I was stood up in...

A family member who was always trouble.. came to me with a sad story and asked if they could stay for a while.

I didn't want to particularly but as they were family, I said yes...

The room they stayed in was where my wardrobes were.. and the morning after the first night, when I went to wake my FM.. I found them gone, and so had every item of clothing I owned.. Wardrobes absolutely stripped bare .!

I was furious.. and I contacted a friend of theirs, and found where the FM was.. and got my stuff back within 2 or 3 days.... no explanation at all..

several years later, I had my bike with the Baby seat on the back stolen from my back garden.

Long story short... it was the same family member.. I got it back.. but only after finding they'd thrown it in the river..

Just appalling tbh.. no-one could have done more in my family for this person.. yet they lied , and stole from me . Needless to say I cut them off many years ago.. and I've never regretted it

My father while in a nursing home had items disappear from his meager possessions present. You dared not leave cash there for him, even a five dollar bill hidden in a drawer. There’s no bottom to some people…

My friend’s S-I-L fell and broke her arm in a nursing home. A few days later she died. He has a lawsuit pending against the nursing home.

Same exact thing happened to my father. His wallet disappeared from a drawer and of course no one knew anything about it. Bunch of sicko's working there.

I wonder how many times he's done this.

It may not be the employees. Folks with dementia may believe what they’re picking up is theirs.
The home where his wallet got stolen wasn't for dementia type, just unable to do for themselves anymore. When my dad got worse, I had to move him to a dementia facility and that's where all his belongings started to disappear. His clothes, shoes, socks...everything. He ended up wearing some sweatpants and a sweatshirt that he never owned because all his stuff was gone. And you are right...it was all the other dementia patients that took the stuff. I had to keep buying new things for him so he had something to wear. I complained of course, but the staff just smiled and said it happens all the time. So unacceptable! But nothing much I could do about it. When he died, I had to buy all new clothes for him because his closet was empty again.
