This is so beautiful and heartwarming it brought tears to my eyes. @win231, being the animal lover you are, I couldn't help but think of you when I saw this.

"Paul Barton, a 62-year-old concert pianist from Yorkshire, left the music halls of Europe behind in the 1990s. He now only plays his classical numbers for rescued elephants, with the endless green of rural Kanchanaburi province as a backdrop.

Some 160,000 subscribers follow Barton’s YouTube channel, which is filled with advanced arrangements of Schubert, Chopin, and Beethoven, but we suspect many classical music lovers are there for the footage of the Englishman serenading the majestic beasts."

Paul Barton plays Beethoven for Romsai, an old almost blind bull elephant.

Animals love music. As a kid, whenever I played, our cats would sleep under the piano. So did my Lab.
My little parakeet loved music, in particular Stevie Ray Vaughn. All it took were two notes from Stevie's guitar, and that little bird was cheeping his face off. 🎸🎶 🐦
