My daughter had something that broke and my 5 year old grandson said call Pawpaw, he'll fix it!
My son in laws are good guys but don't ask them to install a garage door opener, fix a leaking faucet or install a sprinkle system. Their talents are of the more white collar mangerial persuasion.
I learned a lot from my dad but then again a lot of the dads were good with their hands at a variety of things. Not saying some aren't today but it's different now I think. When I wasn't playing I was either watching my dad fix something or had me doing it.
I got a really good picture of my 4 year old grandson, kneeling at a wooden floor I was installing, with his toy hammer, just banging away. Right now I can't teach him to put down tile but darn it, he's teaching me to play videos games!
Thanks for looking.
