Peanut Butter & Coffee creamers may be the cause of Colon Cancer...

Energy bars

...these may actually be packed with emulsifiers, including soy lecithin, mono- and diglycerides and carrageenan.

The additives help create a smooth and uniform texture by preventing ingredients like oils and water from separating.
Soy lecithin, an additive derived from soybeans, can reduce cholesterol levels, support digestion and is considered to help reduce cancer risk.

However as evidenced above, mono- and diglycerides as well carrageenan additives continue to pose a cancer risk.

While generally safe, experts remain concerned about overconsumption of such bars that have little to no nutritional value and their potential impact on the gut microbiome.
About Energy bars- most are just glorified candy bars!

I know Nathan, apparently they have more sugar than most chocolate bars as well... I'm no saint when it comes to food, but would you believe I've never eaten a single Energy bar.. nor have I ever drunk one of those energy drinks.. the smell from this drinks is enough to put me off...

I love my peanut butter and it has to have sugar in it, none of this natural stuff for me. And I have 18 % coffee cream every morning with my coffee. If I die, at least no one will have suffered from me being crabby without my peanut butter and creamer.

Occasionally eat PB but I get the natural stuff.

I eat nonfat plain yogurt with a bit of honey or male syrup added

I have a tablespoon of coffee creamer in my daily single cup of coffee.

After my last colonoscopy (earlier this year) my doc said I don’t need any more, my gut has been pristine through all my colon screenings so I can finally stop having them!

What about the stuff we consume that might prevent , slow or maybe help cure cancers especially in their infancy.

What might cause cancer vs what might prevent cancer.

I knew someone who numerous issues and wound up not being able to shop for themselves in their final year and half. They averaged a gallon plus of OJ and fruit a week prior. Their fruit and oj consumption was reduced about 75%. By the end of their 2nd year of issues including diet they had stage 4 colon cancer with symptoms not a test.

@hollydolly …I for one welcome reading these articles. I find it interesting that there are sometimes suspected and sometimes well documented links to the foods we consume and the health problems we may suffer from. Not everyone will either get or die from disease…but knowing the risks lets us make small changes that can only be better for our health.

Precisely, I'm please you get that..because that's exactly my thought. If people want to take it on board and make changes then that's great..if not that's also their choice, I'm just here to pass on the info... (y)

Doesn't EVERYTHING cause cancer these days? My mother used to eat peanut butter constantly. I would always buy it for her when I went grocery shopping. She lived to be 89 y/o and it wasn't colon cancer that caused her death. It was congestive heart failure.
