That feel-good phrase is old & tired. The full extent of the law is a very small extent, especially now when they've been releasing inmates due to overcrowding. They'll be arrested, fingerprinted, photographed & sent home.

So would I. I would also never parole rapists, armed robbers & murderers, but....we're not the ones in charge.
