People Who Win Millions And Keep Their Job

Well, with what things cost today, everything from food to gas to healthcare to vehicle repairs and house repairs (if the person has a house), winning a nice Lottery would definitely be nice. Fun and travel is another cost, that many in America can't afford. There are those that definitely can afford all of this stuff, but most of the average people can't.

I often thought about creating jobs for others, running the business, being a good boss and being proud of it.

If I were still working and won a ton of money I'd retire in an instant. The only thing I would do is give my boss proper notice. When I see people who win large amounts of money listed in the newspaper sometimes they also give their occupation. I always feel much better when I see someone with a low paying job or a big family win the money. What really irks me are people who have won big and then hit it again. Isn't once enough? How greedy can one get?

Not greedy, just lucky. Nothing wrong with being lucky.

Sorry, I'm not that nice. We'd just want to have fun, buy some very nice things, travel and live good---very good.

The problem with giving up a job that you enjoy because somebody else may need the job more, where is your guarantee that your replacement would actually "need" the job any more than you do? They could have more money than you!

This is true. I remember when one of the big earthquakes hit So California and people in the affected area were lining up to get Food Stamps. No application was required for this emergency. Anyway, there were some folks showing up in limo's to get these Food Stamps.

If I loved my job & what I'm doing, I'd keep it for my mental health and sense of purpose. If I had a dead end job,I'd gladly let the door hit me in the butt !!!
