People with a credit card & Prime membership don't pay $8.49 Membership does cost but when using Echo show to talk to our sons, echo dot for music & wakeup alarm, movies, and the last 3 months 5% cash back on all Amazon purchases I see a value to me in paying for Prime. Not satisfied with a purchase we've had no problems with getting free returns.

I'm not promoting Amazon just pointing out that for us the convenience of items we can buy at a lesser price & delivered to our door works for us.

Super markets price gouge on seasonings and spices, Amazon has much better deals, even on brand-name items.

I checked in Job Lots for peppermint extract when I was there last week. They have limited variety - imitation vanilla, lemon and rum, but no peppermint.

Huh. And they're not even organic. (Agree with Nathan — Amazon has much better prices.)
