Well that was a total waste of time last night.
It was cloudy with a few holes in the clouds, but after sitting in the garden for over an hour, I didn't see one meteor.

Where you lucky enough to see this spectacle.

I'll have another look tonight.

I can't see celestial events like that because of light and probably air pollution. I live in a city and I don't even see stars here. Sometimes I will catch a bright, full moon though.

Well, a feint heart never won the fair lady, so this young fella is off outside to look up, and hopefully I'll be rewarded with the meteortite spectacle.

I sat outside until 1.45am and I never saw any meteorites.

The sky was quite clear for most of the time, so those pesky beggars didn't turn up, or maybe they hid themselves in little wisps of cloud.

Anyway, I'm sending a very strong complaint to Father Christmas about this, I'll tell him that I'm sorry to be such a pain in the neck, but I've got a bloody awful pain in the neck with looking upwards at a sky with no meteorites, perhaps that Rudolph the red nosed fella and his mates hid the shooting stars from me.
