Yes! Whenever I watched his show, I would always look for that glass eye! I admired him for his courage.

My son and I were just talking about Columbo and Peter Falk. Apparently the show is very popular, still. We are going to watch it one of these days. The talk included researching Peter Falk, so we could find out more about him. I thought he was cute!

Peter Falk walks into a bar and says to the bartender, "Hey, I'll bet you $5 I can bite my right eye."
The bartender is intrigued, figures it's worth the $5 to see what this guy is going to do and says, "Sure. You're on."
Peter pops out his right glass eye and bites it. The bartender laughs and says, "Well, you got me there. Here's your $5."
Peter says, "I'll bet you $10 that I can bite my LEFT eye."
Bartender says, "Whoa, there. I know you don't have TWO glass eyes 'cause I saw you drive up. There's no way you can bite your left eye. You're going to lose that $10, pal," and lays a $10 bill on the bar.
Peter takes his false teeth out and bites his left eye, picks up the $10 and leaves.
