Philadelphia thieves almost get away with $55,000 in meat

Meat thieves in Philadelphia almost got away with $55,000 in meat transferring boxes from a freight truck to a box truck. Someone noticed

Apparently one of the thieves made a misSTEAK which allowed them to be noticed. They got away in a second vehicle.

Police say this type of theft has been a issue by gangs specializing in them.

I once drove truck for meat supplier, went into the
packing house for chat and coke, came out and doors open
on the truck, lost some cases of lobster, steaks etc....my fault
for not locking the doors.....
