Phobias, many of us have them. Fears of objects, places, or situations.

LadyEmeraude

You may call me EM 😊
might be mild or excessive fears. Many phobias can cause anxiety...

I have some mild phobias, now here comes the spider phobia, since a young
girl, seeing them, or having one approach/crawl on me, I get anxiety.

Speed, if I am in anyone's vehicle and they decide to drive over the speed limit
it causes me anxiety.

More later~

Nope, no phobias that I am aware of. I confront danger, as it's better than the fear itself. No fear of insects, animals, nor humans.

Oh wait.....I dislike being at the top of cliff, looking down. So long as I can back up several feet, I'm good to go.

The work environment scares me.

I also realized years ago that I don't really like malls all that much. They remind me of school halls.

I also don't like to walk but I will force myself to do so. I get anxious away from my car or apartment. I'm not talking about walking to a store but walking the street or even the park area near me.

Everything! My mom learned early that she could control children by finding out their worst fear and then threatening them with it to have total control over their behavior. :( It was a horrible way to live and lasted til I became a teenager. Consequently, I'm scared of everything. I hide it everyday but it gnaws at my insides. I think this is why I do the work I do with meditation and helping others to find freedom from the anxieties in their lives. I confront all fears but also take a lot of "me" time if I need it to cope with my fears and I do not feel bad about this. It's all been such a mess and I wish it had never happened but it happens to children all the time which is why a woman who is not ready to become a mother, should never be forced to. The suffering of innocent souls can last a lifetime.

Does your neighborhood scare you?

Come to think of it, I am not overly fond of insects BUT not phobias per say.

Spiders and the occasional snakes lol are phobias though.

Specifically, if I knew either was active in my bedroom at bedtime, I would not
be able to sleep and either have to catch them, Or sleep elsewhere until which
time I could relocate them. Snakes and Spiders are not welcome lol
