Someone made a fortune on that no doubt. Foresight is a great asset in life. Or is this a joke?

I moved to N.E. Pennsylvania 30 years ago. It was the sticks- after 10 PM, you couldn't buy gas till 7 AM. It's still the sticks, but people have been building and building. I can drive down any road, and almost every house/business wasn't here, when I moved here. We are now part of the huge mega- Metro New York . And that's only in 30 years.

Either they got the date wrong on my photo or this one.
I think your photo is real:

The photo was taken by Loomis Dean in May/June 1955, and was published in the 6/20/55 issue of LIFE magazine captioned, “Asking price for property reflects high-pitched optimism in Las Vegas.” The $3M price was high enough to capture the photographer’s attention and it summarized the theme of the story: “Is the boom overextended? Las Vegas pushes its luck.”
