Physical Therapy has been a godsend

So, I just had my third session of physical therapy for shoulder and neck pain. I had no idea how many exercises there are to strengthen this area. I do my prescribed Isometric exercises every morning before going to the gym and stretching. Today my therapist had me doing everything from stretching bands to lifting a big plastic ball to laying with my back on a tube with my arms out. It seems to be helping. I've needed no pain medication for two days.

Thanks to Medicare and my supplemental insurance I have up to 12 sessions at $20 each. For those with chronic pain, I would highly recommend you visit an Orthopedist who can prescribe physical therapy. Even after I'm finished I will continue at home with the prescribed exercises.
