It's a mourning dove.
At first I thought it was a Eurasian Collared-Dove which is an invasive species. But then, I remembered the Eurasian Collared-Dove has a black ring around it's neck.This sounds like a lot of fun, Medusa.Right? It has all kinds of cool features: auto pictures and record, squirrel alarms, night vision, AI identification of birds, intercom.
Some of them though, we've found out, are only available for an extra fee. Like extra cloud storage for the pictures and videos and AI identification. But we've learned from a youtuber that the AI isn't always reliable and don't need the cloud storage as I can save them to my phone and offload them to my Google storage.
So far, this feeder is a lot of fun. And we've only just got it.

well i just happened to hover my mouse over the pic and it said dove so i was half right LOL!
i have doves in my neighborhood with an occasional pigeon.

She looks exactly like the doves that were resting in my grass under the feeder today.It's a mourning dove.

Too cool! Now that I think of it, I suppose you can put a camera on just about anything these days.

They really look quite similar, even to me, and I've been an avid bird watcher for years.
Today, I looked outdoors and thought there was a small hawk, very near the cardinals. Yikes, that would be a serious predator.
Except, with monocular, and many stares, on my part, I finally figured out that it was a Very Large Robin.....
Not a hawk, and not a predator.
