Is it just me, or does the chimney actually have a purposeful/intended lean to it?

I can't help but think what a delightful reading/quiet room or sewing/crafts room the attic would make for with a little finishing.

I can smell the old smell as we speak, one of my favourite things about older homes.

Wow that is fantastic. Did you have anything up there? Have you cleaned it all out?

The attic will have to wait for cooler temps. It gets really hot up there. I put a thermometer up there once on a sunny summer day it it registered 125F. It would probably be even more like with the constant above average warmth we've had here. It isn't as cluttered as the cellar; mostly empty cardboard boxes, old space heaters, Christmas decorations and a couple of birdcages. The wires are from the previous owner who was into ham radio. I think it was part of his antenna set-up.
