Pizza Break During Quadruple Homicide

Cold blooded asshole.

[h=1]Police identify suspect in slaying of wealthy DC family[/h]news.yahoo.com/police-identify-suspect-slaying-wealthy-dc-family-024946938.html
14 hours ago WASHINGTON (AP) — Police have identified a suspect in the mysterious slayings of a wealthy Washington family and their housekeeper inside their multimillion-dollar home.
Washington, D.C., police issued a news release late Wednesday saying they are looking for a man identified as 34-year-old Daron Dylon Wint in connection with last Thursday's quadruple homicide. Police have issued an arrest warrant charging Wint with "murder one while armed."
Authorities offered no further details, and have previously released very little information about who might have killed the family or why. When firefighters responded to the house for a fire May 14, they found the slain bodies still inside. Authorities believe the fire was intentionally set.
Slain were 46-year-old Savvas Savopoulos; his 47-year-old wife, Amy; their son, Philip; and housekeeper Veralicia Figueroa.

The suspect is a punk and liar. Facebook page says he graduated a US high school in 1996 yet didn't immigrate from Guyana until 2000. Apparently he is also a Marine Core recruit failure. Wint also worked for the company the victim owned as a welder. And was also pretty mobile with family in Maryland and a girl friend in New York. They only found 10,000 of the 40,000 dollars dropped off to the house earlier. Still puzzled about this 40k.

I'm glad he was stupid and careless enough to have a slice of pizza, and they caught him. I hope all who are involved in these senseless murders are charged to the fullest extent of the law.

I know people feel it's wrong, but, it's very difficult for me to not advocate for the death penalty in cases such as these kinds of murders. I'm not going to argue the point of eye for an eye and the inhumanity of taking a life for a life, but, that's just how I feel same for serial killers, child rapist/murders.

I have no problem with the death penalty at all, just wish it wouldn't take so many years to get there. In cases like this where there is DNA or other real proof of the crime like videos, etc., I say kill the monster, he deserves no more.

I'm just glad they got the suspect. Something still amiss here. But the brutality including killing the child just infuriates me. If the dad is up to no good ok I could see but absolutely not condone his murder because it's gangster business. But the wife and child. This suspect also over 3 dozen brushes with the law including many traffic offenses. This guy doesn't care.

Oh, I agree something's amiss, that's why I say in such murder cases, I'll wait for all the evidence to fall in place. But any and all involved should be dealt with as severely as they dealt out their acts.

I feel extra bad that a child was involved too. I wish they would have just robbed him in some way, without taking any lives.

Think So. The story has been on the net for 24 hours now. Gawker and others frequently post, rehash, link and commentate on other sources.

msn.com has a story and rather than mention the pizza in the title mention that the suspect was id'd through dna/pizza crust that was ordered the day of the murder.

Four innocent people are dead. Is it really important whether or not pizza was mentioned in the headline?? I don't think so.

It doesn't matter if pizza was mentioned in the headline but if you look at the post in sequence & context yes pizza in the headline mattered. If for no other reason it kept the story in the headlines. I remember mention of the murders and fire around a day or two after it happened but it wasn't until they mentioned they got dna from the pizza crust left behind from the suspect that the story captured headlines and the the suspect actually because that dna is critical to the case.

I couldn't agree more.
