Pizza Crust - eat it and even the edges?

What I have pizza, I eat it ALL, including the thick edges. When they used to get pizza at the senior club, I would try to get the corner pieces that have two edges of crust.

When I first started working, there was a woman in the lab that would get pizza in the cafeteria and proceed to scrape off the toppings and just eat the crust. This puzzled me enough that I asked her why she did it. She said it was because the toppings made her gag, especially the cheese. It also made me wonder why she would get pizza in the first place.

Oh, I LOVE the crust. I dip it in seasoned olive oil or garlic butter.

Stuffed crust yes, plain crust my dogs get as with dentures it's just uncomfortable to crack it down.

I eat the crust. Only exception would be if it was baked too long and the crust got really hard and/or burned. I agree, Deb... can't think of why your co-worker would order pizza if the toppings made her gag!

I don't have thick crusts because I always prefer to have traditional Italian pizza which is very thin and the same thinness at the crusts...

Growing up with parents that lived through the depression it was a mortal sin in our house to waste food. So I eat all of everything.

Except for brussels spouts.

Pizza is mostly dough or crust which I don't care for. When I'm with people who choose to eat at a pizza place, I usually order a salad.

Yes, it was a new place and we ordered pepperoni and it came out with heavy everything on a thick crust. It was tasty but way too thick. It was only two slices but they were huge and we cut them in two.
