Have you any plans for this year, holidays, DIY home decor, change of career, retirement ?

I’m taking on some new Voluntary work, will try to get away for a short break around Springtime and also plan to paint my bathroom before the summer, if that’s as good as last year I just want to relax and enjoy it

We still have to due some minor repairs to a house we just moved into a few months ago. The most important thing we have coming up in a few months is my oldest grandson's College graduation. He is studying Bio Medical Engineering.

I am reminded of Jim Rhodes, 4 time governor of Ohio in the 60s and 70s, when asked if he was going to run for a 5th term - "I have no plans, and no plans to make any plans".

I am, however, thinking of moving later this year. Maybe back to Ohio, maybe not. I've will have been here (Arizona) for 2 years and it is time to move on.

Might be the year of the sauna/sun room in the meadow

If

we get a handle on the garden
....and a bead on those pesky ground squirrels,
that seem to have a penchant to dig underground and pull our veggies under

....might be the year of the garden

I am getting some dental work done I've been putting off. I plan to go down to the big city and get my eyes checked and a new pair of glasses. Getting rid of even more of the things around here we don't use or need. Most will go to the thrift store or box and save for a yard sale. Going to So Calif to visit family while my husband and one of our sons go on a fishing trip. Thinking about taking a bus or train trip somewhere with either my husband or one of my grandson's girlfriend.

And I'm thinking this might be the year I finally start keeping my fingernails looking nice.

Good luck with the dental work Linda.. 1 Sounds like you've got a busy year ahead! :D

I don't like to make too many plans, otherwise it's like Pink Floyd - "Things you're planned have come to nought or half a page of scribbled lines". I have ideas of where we might go for holidays and there a few shows on at the theatre that we might go to see. There will be things to do in the garden, and hopefully we will raise some more pigs and sheep.

Ask me again in December, and I'll tell you what we've done.
