Hexapoda
I want to be rich andfamous, so I’m starting a rock and roll band…
If the Beatles andCrickets can do it, why can’t other bugs, tour the land…
I got me an eight armspider providing guitar licks….
While Phasmatobaplays the skins, he has his very own sticks….
A caterpillar onpiano, crawling up and down the keys…
Ole’ grasshopper blowingslid trombone, doing so with ease….
The bee buzzed thetrumpet, our weevil added bass…
While Cicada sang the vocals, with a contorted face….
We hit the stage; twosteppers cut the rug to our unusualsound…
Yes, we will make it,up the charts we are bound…
But crowd was gettingunruly- thunderous stomping feet…
Still we edged themon, with our pounding beat….
In came theauthorities, with orders to subside…
Get it under control;we are prepared to spray insecticide…
So we sang out aslower piece, which would be tonight’s finale…
Catch shortly us onthe flip side, for we are going vinyl….
