I signed up for a yoga class to lose weight and limber up.

Who knew that I'd actually have to attend.... Bummer.

Yoga's drive me nuts. They don't realize not everybody is a 22 year old, petit, supple woman who can bend themselves into a pretzel at will. Further more, they don't realize some of us have to LEARN THE BASIC POSES before we can go forward.

If your potential yoga instructor tells you that "With my methods I can teach anybody from beginners to advanced students in one class" run away as fast as you can.

I've learned to choose Yoga classes that are led by teachers that are closer to my age, although I do have a couple younger Yogis that understand and advocate the concept of "modify as needed for your own bodies needs".
