Police Scanner Apps

Was just wondering if anyone else listens to the police in their area on a police app on your cell phones... We were listening to the scanner coming back from the inlaws, and I couldn't believe what I was hearing... a local beach by where we live you had 2 groups of adults throwing rocks at one another... and another call that one friend was trying to set his friend on fire... Anyone else listens to them and hear strange stuff happening?
 

Years ago we used to listen to Police Scanners (online) in the evening from all around North America.

Haven't done it in ages.
 

I belong to a local FB group called LC Scanner and Adults Gone Wild. So I see all the crazy calls that go on in this county-and,of course,the not so crazy ones. Most importantly, if there is a wildfire in county, I hear about it immediately.

We used to sit in our hottub at night and listen to the scanner. That was fun! One night we heard a call that turned out to be our daughter`s bestie,who was being followed because she was driving a little erratically on a country road. She was actually on her way to meet our daughter and friends for a girls night out and was trying to apply her makeup while driving:rolleyes:. Another night we heard our son get pulled over for what turned out to be failure to use his turn signal. This county is too small lol.
