Poor Service

The other day I set out to do some shopping and I stopped at Target. Outside, there were no carts. Inside neither.
I asked the door security man to call for more shopping carts. He pointed toward the parking lot. I asked him if he expected an old man to roam around the parking lot looking for a cart. He nodded his head to say, "Yes".
I told him to call for mgmt. But he just stood there.

I walked over to a clerk and asked him to call mgmt because there were no carts.
An elderly lady must have overheard me because she offered her cart that she was finished with.

Target actually expects customer to go find their own carts ???? Good grief, what is this world coming to ?

I fully understand. As the years have passed I have gotten worse and worse service across the board.

But this much I would say...if I were paid that little, I would also have zero devotion to the job. To people, I would try to remain concerned and helpful...but to a company that paid me so little...it would be hard to have any loyalty.

Sorry about your bad experience.

take care...

Sometimes I shop at a store where management has a similar attitude. I’ve actually left and shopped elsewhere. Occasionally I return when they have a product I want, which is very rare.
