Postal Delivery - Does it come to your door?

We have community boxes about a forth of a mile down the road but we ask the mail lady if we could put a mail box in front of our house and she said yes. :) So the last 7 or 8 years I just have to walk to the road in front of our house to get the mail. It has a slot on the front and we have to use a key to get the door open in the back to get the mail. There have been people stealing mail in these mountains.

Still get door delivery 6 days a week. They talked about cutting back to 5 which would be fine with me. But never did it.

Postal Delivery - Does it come to your door?

Nope, mail that's addressed to our physical address goes to a "cluster box" out on the highway, about 3/4 mile from the house. Also have a post office box, which I try to divert mail to(more secure), where mail senders do not require a physical address.

Since I live in a condo community, mail is delivered to stands of lock-boxes placed in a few locations in the community. Not far, but not door to door. I remember as a child, the mail came TWICE a day; morning mail and evening mail!
