Maybe tossing out names here will ring a bell with some.
Most of us have been on forums for many years and met many who offered a word of encouragement. I will name two who I knew wayyyyy back in 2001 when I was a forum youngster.
Anyone remember "One of You" aka Laura? Such a classy lady that led by example. She had an uncanny knack of sensing trouble and with a few words could still the troubled waters. I thought about her today when I replied to the sewing thread here on this forum. I had admitted to feeling foolish with a sewing mistake I made and Laura jumped in and told about the time she had sewn her scissors inside her coat project.
I think a lot about "Dwezel" lately too every time I get the urge to move. I had been in my home for many years and undecided. Dwezel said that if I was thinking of moving then it is time to move, emphasis on the italics. I moved. I was sad when she passed away.
Kay Rose aka Elkie or Elkourie.....will never forget her humour. That gal could turn a bad day into a good one just reading her nonsensical but witty posts.
