Growing up southern fried baptist church, an intense desire to achieve fatherly favor until the discovery what was suspected all along god is or is not as each individual understands god to be. What I believe determines the reality of faith and prospects of continued ideation and reality of chosen truths.
I see and understand church worship, god, Jesus, Bible etc associated with faith based religions. Faith religions support the ideology of whatever the author or authors chooses to relate based on the notion of faith/ belief. The difference between faith based religions and choosing an idea of your own is nil except church worship reinforces their idea on you more so than you would on your own.
What I know about god, Jesus, bible, church worship, and prayer is derived from conversation, word of mouth, sermons, study material, bible college studies, and the media, Religion is old and outdated, why do people follow a religion whose instructions and guidelines for living were presented 2000 years ago with upgrades or changes that represent today?
The infinite power of the mind controls what we believe. Faith is like belief on steroids, making things real.
