Power Outage in the Gambling Mecca!

Just received word that several major casino/hotels in Laughlin are without power. I've often wondered what kind of crazy rush such a thing would bring about: dozens of trays containing tens of thousands of dollars lying in darkness until some emergency lighting prevails.

In all my years of carousing about casinos, I've never witnessed it firsthand.

And tonight, shoot, I'm 270 miles away!

Ha ha imp! Wow, that's a pretty widespread outage! Hope everyone affected is safe. I was in one of the casinos here several years ago when the power went out. I can tell you that the backup generators kicked emergency lighting on almost instantly. Anybody who was even able to think fast enough to try and snag some cash or chips would have been busted red-handed for sure :stupid:
 
And what about the possible groping that may have happened...
 

And could be more fun depending who was the groper or the gropee. I would loved to be groped by some fashionable lady at the craps table like you see in the movies...:eek:nthego:
 
Turns out some idiot lost control and crashed into one of those big transformers along the sidewalk. Always wondered about their placement.

Several days earlier, a guy outside the Mall, across the strip from the Aquarius, saw a big black SUV roll twice, hit something just right, went airborne! He posted pics of it lying there on the local FB thing. Gambling seems to drive some folks nuts, but not THIS half-wit! imp
