Pre-cooked Pasta

if you mean the 'fresh' pasta, it is in the chiller department, I like the filled ones, where you can get different fillings,

They have precooked pasta to make dishes with. I've had the ravioli with sauce from a jar on it. Wasn't bad. It just has a different consistency than fresh from home. It's more rubbery. It's in the refrigerator section. If you're thinking of switching to it to make less work for yourself you might wanna reconsider. If it's just something you wanna get once as a quickie thing then sure it's ok. But it's not gonna be the same.

Just as described by jujube.

The instructions would have been clear if they told you to pre-cook them.

There are lasagne noodles that are designed for going directly into the recipe without cooking first. I think they tell you how to alter the recipe for them.

Those no-boil lasagna noodles will be in the same section as all the other dry pasta. If you can’t find them, one of the store workers will help you.

That’s what I’d be using if I ever made lasagne from scratch again.

Here's a screen shot of the recipe with the lasagna highlighted. Some recipes also call it "oven ready".

Here are the noodles I use when making lasagna.

Into the pan with the rest of the ingredients, bake normal.

We do buy the Barilla pre-cooked pasta to take camping. We have an extremely little trailer and I am not about to be boiling pasta and draining it etc. in that small space. The trailer does have a microwave so this pasta works ok. However, it isn't the greatest and I wouldn't use it at home. It is okay with sauce, some mushrooms and meat. It is with the regular pasta like spaghetti in our store in a pouch.

This is the brand that I have used a couple of times in the past; the last time I prepared them ~ was a disaster. Nasty stuff; rubbery and weird. Never again.
