Prehistoric Nursing

Things have really changed since I became a medical professional 42 years ago, and the generation before noted the same thing. I worked with nurses who were practicing when penicillin was the new wonder drug, insulin shock therapy was used to treat psychosis., and the state boards (now called the NCLEX) was 11 essay questions.

I got to wondering about prehistoric nurses and what their work was like.

One thing hasn't changed in nursing: "If it isn't charted, it didn't happen".

I'm relative sure that the prehistoric professionals needed to have a room where they could take a break...
