Presidents Day - February 20th

While listening to C-SPAN today, the show was on
Pres. Lincoln's Gettysburg Address...272 words.
The Lincoln Museum put out an announcement that
Anyone could contribute their address.
All Presidents did.
Jimmy Carter typed his, not on a computer, but on old typewriter.
Many others sent theirs..some famous, Ken Burns, Colin Powell.
Over 1,200 and a book was published..but I didn't 'catch' the title.

Thought this was interesting, and... that I'd share.
(P.S. if anyone has heard of it..please mention.)

I have toured the homes of, Benjamin Harrison, Rutherford B. Hayes, James A. Garfield, Warren Harding, U.S.Grant, F.D.R., Martin Van Buren, the Adams', George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe.

I love such history.

I /we kid's school trip..G.W.'s Mount Vernon
On the way to friend's... Monticello
