Presidents Day - Third Monday In February

When I was a kid, we didn’t have President’s Day, but rather observed Washington and Lincoln’s birthdays on separate dates. We did this in school by cutting out silhouettes of both guys from black construction paper…and there may have been a framed dingy portrait of Washington hanging in the front of the classroom. I guess he wanted to be sure we kids behaved…
