But not surprised. He has been working out of town for over a month now,due to all the insane weather in California. Three of my grandsons have been as well. Anyway,he finally came home yesterday and my daughter poste this.....Nice to have my guy home even if it's gonna possibly be for a short time! So they were working in Honeydew (up north) over the weekend tons of snow neighbors were concerned about an elderly lady and her dog. Manuel and crew made their way to her house she and her dog came out, no power for 10 days and almost out of food..Manuel had a few leftover sandwiches for her and the dog. The next morning he went to Safeway in Fortuna and spent $150 for food and a bag of dog food for this lady!! Love this man!

He really has suh a soft heart-although you would never know it to hear him talk lol. He has a rapport with kids that is just amazing, and all the kids in town who have had experiences with him-either through sports or just being friends with his four boys-love him.

I do worry though about how many people-especially elderly people-may be trapped in their homes without heat or food. I keep seeing areas in both Northern and Southern California where there are homes that are practically buried in snow and no one has been able to reach them. Very scary.
