Prevent member reaction/reply to post

Egad, even though I was prompted to I never wrote an intro. But by now it's probably a moot point. The ladies all know enough to run and hide. I'm pretty visible and I don't intentionally harm anyone or push them to discomfort. The admin has his eye on me. Etc.

Yes I got the brand new member following a few times but they seem to have disappeared.
They must think we are a bunch of dozy old souls ready to tell them all about our lives and try with the private message thing.
That happened to me in a forum a few years ago.
I told him/her to eff off and on that note I am ready for a coffee

How do you know who's following you?
You get one of those little alerts if they just start following you.

If you mean a list of ongoing ones including very old ones including members from years ago who arent even members any more and ones you've never heard of ;
Then you look someplace on your profile sections......
You click on your username a few times, then across the horizontal menu for About

I have been wondering about this whole "follow" thing myself. I think I figured it out!

There is a section called "what's new". If you click on that, there are several options. One of them is "your news feed" . When I go there, it shows me the newest activity of all of the people who I follow.

Please be aware: I'm on a tablet....it might be different on a PC.

I hope this helps!

On another front..just got a notification that a "brand new member" just joined is now "following" me. I was never clear on what his means. This person joined earlier today, and has not yet posted. SO I guess these kinds are scammers, or oddballs.
Is there a way to block someone from this? Or does it not mean alot? Gives me the creeps.
I’ve had members who are new suddenly start trying to PM me. I think they need a certain amount of posts to go through before they can even send PM’s. I’m not sure how many.
