It really would be best if he shuts up now. I certainly have heard more than I ever need to about his feelings and doings.

We all form an opinion about people for so many reasons, many not logical or without real basis. Yet I do feel it is Meghan always the force leading him onwards to disaster. If they just go away, live quietly and do some genuine good, then ok. But they keep popping back up.

May I recommend a Jane Austen novel...you seem to be at a loose end!

Everyday, in the synopsis of world news, there's a blurb about some royal snubbing some royal. Somehow, I don't think that's "world news". In a year from now, is anybody going to care about that stuff?
It's not world news....some folks make it part of their surrounding environment. It isn't.

Focus on a small country in Africa that's being overrun with terrorists, there's a lot of world news about that, how about feeding the homeless? Pick a country, any country. Has the electricity been restored in the islands of the Caribbean and the people able to resume working, socializing, tending to their family needs? We know they have paper towels thrown at them, but not enough compassion.

I think it's strange that on a board where we talk about everything from peanut butter to teapots every time somebody mentions Harry or Meghan they get shamed for not talking about starving children in Africa.

Anyone who wants to talk about serious world issues is free to start a thread about it, it isn't an either-or thing.

I notice you take a dig at Camilla every time her name comes up and that poor woman has been receiving unrelenting hate since 1993. Maybe you're the one who needs to read another Jane Austen novel.

I suggest Mark Twain, actually.

As the title of Ron White's Netflix show suggests:

Gossip

By John Kenyon

Gossip right and left you're strowing,
Never heeding what you do;
Tho' each idle word you're sowing
Friend and neighbour long may rue.
When we marked you lately loosing
Stone from yonder green hill's side,
You but in your sport were choosing
Swift adown to see it glide.
You look'd pale tho', when in fury,
Like a mad thing just releas'd,
Threatening work for judge and jury,
Wild it whirred o'er man and beast.

Think then, Chatterer! 'mid your doing,
If for others nought you rue,
How the very seed you're strewing
May spring up—ill seed for you.
Yon maim'd traveller, you behold him,
Smitten sore by avalanche;
Wiser heads in vain had told him
On to move, in silence staunch.
Now his own sad cup he's drinking;
Word of his provoked the fall,
Which so lamed; and left him thinking
How that word was cause of all.

Well hon...I've met both Diana and Camilla at different times.
I happen to love Diana and her two sons, especially Harry, whom I met as toddlers.
BTW, I've read all of Jane Austen's books ...have also read "The Idiot" by Dostoevsky! Very useful when dealing with some people LOL

As a therapist, and a trauma survivor, I applaud Prince Harry’s courage in both facing his demons, and sharing his journey. However it may appear to outsiders, this path is never easy. I also believe he truly wishes to make a positive difference in the world. I also think that many PTSD sufferers can relate to his experience. Does he overshare, on

occasion? Perhaps, but this is almost an inevitable result of this sort of therapy. Mental health issues remain largely a taboo subject. This needs to change! Those with lifelong access to publicity can bring valuable attention to an “uncomfortable” subject, truly an act of public service.

Jamala, weren't you asked by the Bolshoi ballet to dance the lead in Swan Lake or something like that? I'm surprised you have the time to devote yourself to our improvement the way you do.
LOL I turned them down...I wasn't born at the time...try again!
Be happy Della, life is too short for older people to not enjoy it.

What strikes me as odd here is, why some people get so upset if others care to find some diversion when talking about the royals or other famous folks who are making idiots of themselves. Sometimes, it may just be a way of expressing how they feel about real situations in their own lives by using this as an outlet. It isn't hurting anyone personally that I know of.

When another throws around airs of superiority at letting the world know of their personal contact with members of the royal family, I wonder if it's being protective of them or just putting us in our place.
