All I can say is I wish I had the ability and nerve to drive like that!
I remember year ago when we had a Grand National which was a pretty fast car but exactly didn't have 'that' look if you know what I mean. I was about 22 at the time and I remember pulling up to a red light in the curb lane and another car on my left pulled up, two guys in it about the same age as me. The light changed and they had barely enough time to read my rear license plate before I was gone
. Very satisfying after what looked to me like a slightly condescending glance my way. It was a good thing we didn't have that car long because it's impossible to stay in the speed limit when you are driving a fast car! Impossible I tell ya!
By the way, the reason we didn't have that car long is because my husband chopped a tree down and the car was in the wrong spot and.......well, I'm sure you can guess.

Pretty much have to agree with you there, Debby - I've had a lot of 'em, and the usual comment is that they look like they're going fast even when they're parked.

And who can resist right? Feel the POWER!!!!! WHAT A RUSH!
That's why when our youngest was first driving on her own, we were real happy to have a little Volkswagon Golf. It controlled her inner beast. Mind you there was still two months where I had to drive her to work every day because she got her license suspended
. I guess her 'beast' did it's best with a pokey little Golf.

Who is the 'her' you're talking about? If you're referring to my little example of my daughters first year of having a license, driving fast ( when she was 17) doesn't necessarily equate with road rage does it?
