Problem with Toilet Seat

When my neighbor mowed yesterday, I explained my problem. He got a ratchet wrench and that did the trick. So far, so good.

Yep, it's just one of those hardware items with moving parts that need tightening once in a while.

Door knobs- they need tightening up, get loose from use.

I only have an adjustable wrench and it was too large to get between the seat and tank effectively.

I’m not a toiletseatologist but would some sort of plastic washer help to keep the plastic bolts from loosening.
