Saw this guy the other day in the nearby City. I was in awe. He had complete control, there were no dogs pulling or fighting. Amazing.

I used to dogsit my sister's dogs frequently. I'd take them out together for their walks but finally had to start taking them out individually. They'd have me wrapped up in their leashes something fierce. One would stop to take a wiz and the other one would want to keep going. One would lift a leg and inevitably the other one would have to stick its head in there to see what was happening. That would involve at least a head wash when we got home.

So, I'd take one out and leave the other one home. That would result in the one left behind howling like the hound of the Baskervilles because, y'know, we were never, never going to come back. Back home, unleash the walked one and go out with the howler. More howling from the one at home, at course.

I have no idea how that guy can walk that many dogs successfully when I couldn't even walk two.

That's a lot of dogs James, bet he's making good money doing that. It is amazing how well they're walking together.

I couldn't believe it SeaBreeze, I actually took a drive around the block and watched as he waited at an intersection. Most of the dogs sat down and the ones that didn't just stood there, not moving. Big dogs too. The guy is a professional.

James,I have seen these dog walkers also from time to time. I don't know how they do it. My Lab use to take me for a walk.

LOL... Mine is a little Havanese and he walks everywhere...off to the side, around poles and trees and he stops to sniff everything.

There is a young lady in my neighborhood I see occasionally walking 2-4 dogs.
Personally, I'd be pissed if I hired that guy to walk my dog and saw him walking that many. None of those dogs are getting any personal attention.

I don't think they need or want personal attention, Hip. But I think I know what you mean, IF a pup needed attention, you wonder if he gets it.

They look to be a happy pack, with the guy as the pack leader. I have seen several of these multi walkers in NYC. Just another reason why I love and admire dogs and some handlers so much. They are capable of more than we realize sometimes. I love cats, too.

What always frustrated me was them having to stop and check their p-mail at every post. And, really now, who actually NEEDS to pee 15-20 times on a 10-minute walk? After a while, it's stop, lift the leg, nothing happens....stop, lift the leg, nothing happens....exactly who does he think he's fooling?

Yes, what is it with the constant sniffing when it's toilet time? What? Is this group of leaves not good enough? Twirl, sniff, spin, sniff, walk, sniff, squat, get up and sniff again. Geeze, wouldja hurry up? It's freezing!
