how about prepaying gas in store, coming out and driving off without the gas....duh!!!
after driving for few mins I thought gee my gas tank is still low..then I remembered I didn't pump the gas:ROFLMAO:
I don't go to that gas station any more....most of the pumps are prepay.

In our petrol garages , every pump gives us an option to either pre-pay or pay at the kiosk...

Yes ours do too, but this is a very old gas station not entirely up with the times
Only two of their pumps have that option.
They were having trouble with nasty peeps pumping gas and taking off without paying hence pay before you pump.
I took off without pumping after paying....
We had a good laugh about that when I went back for the gas.
I heard they will be closing down soon.
 
We used to travel lots in the US. It always surprised me to see people paying for their meals with a cheque.

The last time I saw someone paying with a cheque in a store, it was a business account. Credit cards or cash are safer for the merchant. Even cash is a nuisance because the store has the security issue of transporting to a bank later.
 
Got a notice from my car insurance company a couple of years ago that if they did not receive my payment by a certain date they would cancel my insurance. I knew I had paid it, but called them and gave credit card info over the phone and paid it again. Sometime later I found the stamped and sealed envelope in my desk drawer. I evidently made out the payment and then stuck everything in my drawer. :confused:

Okay, so here is more PROOF of my Brain status....other day I ordered a mini blind for the kitchen door, old blind fell apart, so I received replacement thursday, took it all apart into kitchen and I"D ORDERED A SHORT BLIND, NOT THE RIGHT SIZE!!!!!!1
