Pumpkin spice is vastly overrated.

I think I ruined it for myself when I made a homemade pumpkin spice latte. It was gross.
I need to go get a good one that's not too sweet (or bitter, like mine) so I can get in the spirit.
The sweater represents the exploitation of the beloved spice. 😉
It's obviously popular, and people look forward to it. Especially Starbucks people.

They're like "Oh, YAY! It's pumpkin-spice season!" 😃

And I'm like, "Oh, yay, it's pumpkin-spice season." 😣

I love pumpkin and pumpkin spice. I'm a little bit of a purist however. I don't like everything done in pumpkin like Trader Joe's does.

Have any of you ever thought that restaurants might be putting pumpkin pie flavoring in their foods? You just never know. No offense to all the pumpkin pie lovers. I get the smallest sliver of pie during the holidays so my husband won't get his feelings hurt. You got it right, I also don't like the flavors mentioned (about 500 times so far).

Well. DD just got me an apple crisp Frappuccino from STBX. It's to die for! Not gonna get another one for a while so's not to wear out apple spice flavor ;)

Warning, pumpkin lovers this could be the thing that sours you on pumpkin forevermore. There's a recipe on the MSN homepage for...wait for it...pumpkin lasagna. I would not joke about such sacrilege. Haven't looked at the recipe lest it should turn me against the highest and best use of pumpkin: pie.

There's a limit, KWIM? At least there was. Pumpkin lasagna exceeds the limit.

Does it count that I am sitting here with my Morning Coffee, flavored with pumpkin spice in the coffee ? Later, I will have my non-caffiene chicory coffee-drink with some raw cacao and the pumpkin pie spice and almond milk, making it a chocolate/pumplin spice latte.
Looking forward to eggnog season and having eggnog flavor coffee, which is actually not too much different than the one i am having right now.

We have eggnog in the stores here now. I would always start buying it as soon as I saw it for my son. Now I don't even know if he still drinks it.

I don't drink coffee but I do love pumpkin pie and I make pumpkin bread pretty well.
