When a tweenager, I dreamed I was trying to fly away from a chasing skeleton. It caught me by my ankle. I woke up then. I've also been chased by the Frankenstein monster, and a gorilla in dreams. Once dreamed my mother was leaning over me as I lie in bed with her hands held out towards me like claws.
Astral projection? Don't know. Hmm, the mind can create some pretty strange imaginings??
I think I astral traveled when I was young, maybe a tween. What I had seemed like more than a dream to me. I flew out of my small bedroom window and over land that reminded me of the Grand Canyon. I also used to experience flying dreams. So I do believe in the phenomena, but I agree with @Pepper that what you experienced seems like something else. I thought as I read your last two paragraphs that you were trying to make sense of what happened with the lightbulb and perhaps learning the pear and lightbulb had the same definition in German triggered a false memory of dreaming your cousin ate the pear (?) Or you actually dreamed it and it revived your memory.
Dreaming of your cousin eating a pear, an action he actually did, seems more like precognition to me. Perhaps even under the category of a "knowing" I've experienced both things several times over many decades.
